Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago performing in stage role for several years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in movies and television shows. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler was her role in Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the show Numbered Day, which is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the final years in Walter White's personal life.
